Do I need to pre-book an activity or can I just turn up?
No, there’s no requirement to pre-book before visiting Bowland Social – we’re always happy to welcome walk-ins. However, availability can vary, particularly during busy periods, weekends and holidays, so we can’t always guarantee an immediate slot for your chosen activity.
If a game is fully booked when you arrive, you’re welcome to relax with a drink or bite to eat while waiting for the next available time slot. To avoid disappointment and secure your preferred activity time, we always recommend booking in advance where possible.

Can we have food & drink at Bowland Social?
Absolutely! No need to pause the fun – we’ve got food and drinks covered. From delicious sharing plates and crowd-pleasing favourites to ice-cold pints, wines, spirits and cocktails, there’s plenty to keep everyone fuelled between games.
You can browse our food and drinks menus before your visit to see what’s available.
Please note that food is not permitted within the game zones while activities are in progress, and no food or drink is allowed on the crazy golf course.
Are there any age restrictions?
Some of our activities do have age recommendations and restrictions:
- Interactive Darts and Laser Clays are recommended for guests aged 12 and over.
- Our pool table is strictly for guests aged 18+ at all times.
- Crazy Golf has no specific age restriction, although please be aware that the course is designed with a medium level of difficulty.
- All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
Please also note that Bowland Social becomes an 18+ venue from 7pm every evening.

Do you take private bookings?
Yes! Whether you’re planning a children’s party, birthday celebration, family gathering, corporate event, team-building day or a large group social, Bowland Social offers a range of packages that can be tailored to suit your occasion.

Are dogs allowed in Bowland Social?
Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted anywhere at Bowland Social.

How do cancelations work?
We operate a 48-hour cancellation policy for all bookings.
If you need to cancel or amend your booking, please contact us at least 48 hours before your scheduled activity time. Bookings are non-refundable, but if you let us know at least 48 hours in advance, we’ll be happy to transfer your booking to an alternative date where possible.
Please note that refunds are not available, and our team are unable to issue cash refunds at any time.
For any changes to an existing booking, simply get in touch with our team and we’ll do our best to assist.
